A well-updated curriculum reassures students that they’re on the right track to reaching their goals and honing desired skills. However, in India, the procedure to regularly update the teaching curriculum seizes to exist. The current curriculum of the Indian Higher Education System is not only heavily outdated for a majority of the domains but also is not able to cater to the current industrial demands. This is the major factor due to which the aspiring graduates are not able to land on their dream job.
Despite teaching being such a noble profession, a majority of people in India avoid opting for it as a profession. This leads to several vacancies remaining unfilled. Also, it has been observed that the number of teaching faculty in India is decreasing every year. All of these factors lead to a shortage of good quality teachers
A teaching methodology comprises the principles and methods used by teachers to enable student learning. With the current changing times, the method of teaching is also evolving but in a country like India which has the world’s largest youth population, the teaching methods still borrows heavily from the older times. All this leads to a lack of interest in learning and understanding of concepts.
