On Saturday, the Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, launched a 100-day reading campaign titled ‘Padhe Bharat’. The launch of the campaign is in alignment with the National Education Policy 2020 that lays emphasis on the promotion of joyful reading culture for children by ensuring the availability of age-appropriate reading books for children in the local/mother tongue/regional/tribal language.

”We are going through a complete review of our curriculum so that we can enhance the student experience. The exercise is being conducted after over a decade. Over the last several years, IITs have moved from being predominantly undergraduate and engineering institutions to full-fledged universities offering a wide range of courses,” he said.
