Serendipity Arts Grant 2023 application process opens


PANAJI: The Serendipity Arts Festival is releasing a series of grants supporting practices across disciplines for a multitude of art and craft forms, folk traditions and festivals that have been steadily declining for many decades and are now almost on the verge of disappearing completely. The Dwindling Traditions Grant will support the documentation of dwindling traditions in an effort to develop and digitize an archive of artforms, festivals, and traditions. The Grantees will be awarded a sum of up to Rs 2,50,000 to make a documentary film.
In addition, grant of up to Rs 1,00,000 will be awarded to independent music creators across different genres to support the process of creating new music under the Production Grant for Independent Musicians.
The Serendipity Arts Virtual Grant will be awarded to one collective, group, duo, or collaboration to develop a project adapted to the digital space with funding up to Rs 1,00,000. Projects have to be interdisciplinary and collaborative in nature and will be hosted on the Serendipity Arts website/domain. The deadline for applications for the grants is May 15.
