Union Education Minister Nishank Will Go Live On Twitter For ‘Shiksha Samwad’

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will go live today at 12:30 pm on twitter for ‘Shiksha Samwad’. He will be discussing the ‘Vision of making India a Global Knowledge Superpower’.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will go live today at 12:30 pm on twitter for ‘Shiksha Samwad’. The education minister will hold the event through his social media handles and will discuss the ‘Vision of making India a Global Knowledge Superpower’ on 27th August. This will be his first discussion after the release of admit cards for both examinations i.e., engineering (JEE) and medical (NEET) entrance exams.

Also, this will be the first live session for ‘Shiksha Samwad’ after the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 was released on 29th July and implemented earlier this month. The Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank informed that he would be holding a live event on Twitter on 27th August 2020, at 12:30 pm. It has also been seen that the education minister has been actively explaining the National Education Policy 2020 on twitter. He has shared about the basic principles and ideas behind the NEP 2020. Also, how the National Education Policy will benefit and give pace to India’s education system.

‘Shiksha Samwad’

The live session- ‘Shiksha Samwad’ is going to be held amid a heated situation. After the release of JEE and NEET 2020 admit cards, for the past 2 days, thousands of students are continuously tagging the Education Minister, asking for government intervention in the matter. They are also demanding the postponement of the JEE and NEET 2020 examinations. Many students have also asked for the resignation of the Education minister.

The protest against the holding of final year exams has also intensified, though the Supreme Court is yet to give a verdict on this matter. Many political leaders have also reached the Education Minister requesting cancellation of examinations.

However, the Education Minister in an interview replied on the decision of holding exams that the decision to conduct the examinations was taken after a request from parents and students. He also assured that necessary precautions will be taken at the examination center for the safe conduct of the JEE and NEET 2020 examinations.
