CBSE Board Exam 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education will hold the CBSE 12th History Board Exam 2023 on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Students who are going to appear in the exam can download and practice the previous year question papers here.
Class 12 History Examination 2023 will be conducted for a total of 80 marks. Students will be given complete 3 hours to attempt the question paper. The History paper will have 34 questions divided into 5 sections.
Section A – Question No. 1 to 21 are MCQs of 1 mark each.
Section B – Question No. 22 to 27 are Short Answer Type Questions, carrying 3 marks each. Answer to each question should not exceed 60-80 words.
Section C – Question No. 28 to 30 are Long Answer Type Questions, carrying 8 marks each. Answer to each question should not exceed 300-350 words
Section D – Question No. 31 to 33 are Source based questions with three sub-questions and are of 4 marks each.
Section E – Question No. 34 is Map based, carrying 5 marks that include the identification and location of significant test items.
Candidates may note that there will be no overall choice in the question paper. However, an internal choice will be provided in a few questions. Only one of the choices in such questions has to be attempted.

The CBSE Class 12th Board Examination 2023 started on February 15 and will come to an end on April 05, 2023. The board exams for the 10th class ended on March 21, 2023. Several schools have started their new academic session in a rush to cover the syllabus. However, in a recent notice, the CBSE has warned the schools against starting the new academic session before April 01, 2023.
