NEW DELHI: The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has released the admit card for the PGCIL Diploma Trainee exam 2023, which will be held on May 05, 2023. A total of 577 posts have been called out for the recruitment process. The exam will consist of a computer-based written test that will assess candidates’ technical knowledge and supervisory aptitude.
The written test will comprise two parts, with Part-I consisting of Technical Knowledge Test (TKT) and Part-II consisting of Supervisory Aptitude Test (SAT). TKT will include 120 questions from the respective discipline, while SAT will have 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency and interpretation, numerical ability, etc. All questions will carry equal marks, and wrong answers will lead to negative marking of ¼.
As per the posts reserved for the respective category, the qualifying criteria in the written test is minimum 30% in each part (Part-I & Part-II) separately and minimum 40% marks in aggregate for UR/EWS vacancies. For other reserved vacancies, candidates must secure a minimum of 25% marks in each part separately and a minimum of 30% marks in aggregate to qualify.

Candidates who have applied for the PGCIL Diploma Trainee exam 2023 are advised to download their admit card from the official website (https://www.powergrid.in/) and carry a printout of it to the exam center on the day of the test. They must also carry a valid photo ID proof and a passport-sized photograph as mentioned in the admit card. It is essential to follow all the guidelines mentioned in the admit card to avoid any inconvenience during the exam day.
