NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission is scheduled to announce the notification for Combined Defence Services, CDS 2023 today, May 17, 2023. Interested candidates can check the eligibility and apply for CDS (II) after the activation of the registration link on the official website at upsc.gov.in.
As per the annual calendar, the CDS (2) notification will be announced today following which the registrations will be opened. The online application process for UPSC CDS (II) will come to an end on June 06. UPSC will conduct the CDS exam on September 03, 2023.
Educational Qualifications
(i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai — Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy — Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
(iii) For Air Force Academy — Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Marital Status
Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried. Marriage is not permitted during training. Married candidates above 25 years of age are eligible to apply but during the training period they will neither be provided married accommodation nor can they live with family outside of the premises.
How to apply for UPSC CDS 2?
Step 1. Visit the official website at upsc.gov.in
Step 2. On the homepage, click on the option “Online Application For Various Examinations Of UPSC”
Step 3. To apply for the CDS (II), enter your personal information, address, and educational qualifications
Step 4. Candidates must also select their desired branch
Step 5. Pay the application fee ad submit the form
Step 6. Download and take a copy of the form for future reference

Candidates (except Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200.
