NEW DELHI: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has begun the NVS Class 6 registration 2024-25 today, June 20. Students who are eligible can apply for the Jawaharlal Nehru Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) through the official website at navodaya.gov.in.
The last date to apply for the NVS Class 6 admission is August 10, 2023.
JNVST 2024 exam has been scheduled for two phases. The first examination is scheduled for November 4, 2023, at 11:30 AM in various locations across India. The test centers are situated in Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Sikkim, as well as the districts of Dibang Valley and Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh.
Additionally, the test will be conducted in Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti, and Shimla districts of Himachal Pradesh, Darjeeling in West Bengal, and the Leh and Kargil districts of Ladakh.

How to apply for NVS Class 6 Registration 2024?
Step 1: Visit the official website at navodaya.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link available for ‘NVS Class VI registration’.
Step 3: Complete the registration process.
Step 4: Fill out the JNVST application form, make the online fee payment, and submit.
Step 5: Download the final form and get a printout of the form for further reference.

Documents required for NVS Class 6 Registration 2024

  • Signature of the candidate.
  • Signature of a parent.
  • Photograph.
  • Aadhaar details or residence certificate, given by competent Government authority.
  • The certificate verified by the headmaster mentioning the candidate’s details in the prescribed format.

The second examination is set for January 20, 2024, at 11:30 AM and will be held in multiple states and union territories across India. The test centers are located in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh (excluding Dibang Valley and Tawang), Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh (excluding Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti, and Shimla).
Additionally, the test will be conducted in specific areas of Jammu and Kashmir (specifically Jammu-I, Jammu-II, Samba, and Udhampur), Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal (excluding Darjeeling). It will also be held in the Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Daman, and Diu, Delhi, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry.
