NEET (UG) to be held on May 7, OJEE exams to begin from May 8


BHUBANESWAR: National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) (UG)-2023 examination will be conducted on Sunday at 125 centres in 27 cities across the state. As many as 56,989 candidates will appear for the medical entrance examination.
Official sources said Bhubaneswar has 22 examination centres to accommodate 14,481 candidates. In India, 20.59 lakh candidates will appear for the NEET (UG)-2023 to be held on Sunday.
Similarly, the schedule of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE)-2023 has been published. It will begin from May 8 and continue till May 15. It will be conducted in three shifts on each day of the examination. First shift will start from 9am and continue till 11am, while second shift will be conducted between 12.30pm and 2.30pm. The last shift timing is 4.30pm-6.30pm.
As many as 55,979 candidates will appear for the OJEE-2023 this year through computer-based test (CBT) mode at 47 test centres including three in outside state. Examinations will be conducted for 11 programmes.
On the first day, tests will be conducted for lateral entry into BTech or LE tech (diploma) in three shifts. On May 9, examinations will be conducted for MCA/MSc (computer science) in the first two shifts and the third shift will have tests for MTech (11 subjects), M Arch, M Plan, M Pharm and BCAT.
On May 11, tests will be held for MBA in two shifts and the last shift will have examinations for LE Tech (BSc) and BCAT (film editing). On May 12, students will appear for BPharm in the entire three shifts. On May 15, they will appear for LE tech (diploma), integrated MBA and LE Pharm.
