NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency, NTA conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), NEET UG 2023 today, May 07. The exam was conducted in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM.
After the successful conclusion of NEET UG 2023, the testing agency will release the provisional answer key on the official website at neet.nta.nic.in. However, various NEET Coaching Institutes have released their unofficial answer key with solutions. Students can refer to them to get an idea about the expected answer key.

Marking Scheme
– Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4).
– Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
– Unanswered: No mark (0).
– If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
– If all options are found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
– If none of the options is found correct or a Question is found to be wrong or a Question is dropped then all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks (+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.

How to check NEET UG 2023 Answer Key?
Step 1. Visit the official webiste at neet.nta.ac.in
Step 2. On the homepage, go to ‘Candidate Activity’
Step 3. Now, click on the link available for NEET UG 2023 provisional answer key
Step 4. Login using your application number and date of birth
Step 5. Your answer key will appear on the screen
Step 6. Download and take a printout of the same for future reference
Last year, NEET UG 2022 was conducted on July 17. The provisional answer key was released on August 31, 2022. The candidates were given the option to raise objections against the answer key, if any, till September 2, 2022. The NEET UG Final Answer Key 2022 was released on September 08, 2022.
