Gujarat SEB Exam TET 2 Result 2023 announced: The state education board on Thursday announced results of the Teacher Eligibility Test 2 (TET-2). As per the board data, only 15.76% or 37,450 of the 2.37 lakh candidates who took the exam cleared the exam. The remaining 84.24% or about 2 lakh candidates could not get 90 marks, the minimum to qualify for general category candidates, out of 150 marks in the question paper. The minimum marks for reserved category candidates was 82 out of 150 marks.
TET, the eligibility for getting a teacher’s job in government schools, is conducted twice a year. TET 1 is for getting a teacher’s job in Class 1-5 and TET 2 is for the teacher’s job in Class 6-8. TET was conducted for the first time in April this year after 2017.
Data showed that 2,84,523 candidates had registered for TET-2. The exam was conducted at Ahmedabad city, Ahmedabad rural, Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat, Gandhinagar, Junagadh, Bhavnagar and Jamnagar.
The state examination board had announced the answer keys on May 3 and had allowed candidates to apply for any clarification they needed.
Results showed that only 22,162 general category candidates could score 90 marks and above. Only one candidate has scored 135 out of 150 marks and has topped the exam.
The notification for the TET examination was issued in October 2022 and was expected to be conducted in February or March however, due to some reasons the examination was delayed to April 2023.
The candidates who want to recheck their OMR sheets will have to apply before June 30. The candidates will have to upload their hall tickets and pay Rs 100 to register.

One candidate scores 135 marks
Results data showed that only one candidate has scored above 135 marks from 150 marks question paper, while 259 candidates scored between 120-134 marks and 4,316 candidates scored between 105-119 marks.
