NEW DELHI: Chandigarh Police Department has started the online application process to recruit candidates for the Constable (Executive) post. Interested candidates can check the eligibility criteria here and apply for recruitment by visiting the official website at chandigarhpolice.gov.in.
As per the schedule, the online registration for Executive Constable will be open from June 01 to June 22, 2023, till 11:59 PM. Candidates are advised to complete the registration process at the earliest to avoid last-minute hassle. The written examination for Constable is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on July 23, 2023. The Chandigarh Police Dept. aims to fill 700 vacancies for Constable posts through this recruitment drive.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit for all the candidates is 18 years. However, the maximum age is different for different categories. The upper age limit for the General category is 25 years, while for OBC and SC, the maximum age limit is 28 and 30 years respectively.
Educational Qualification
The applicants must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board.
Note: For Ex-Servicemen, 10+2 or Certificates awarded in the Defence Services which are recognised as equivalent to 10+2.
Driving Skills
Candidates who have a valid driving license to drive both, two-wheelers and four-wheel vehicles, are mandatory for male candidates of all categories as on the date of submission of the online application.
