NEW DELHI: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will begin accepting registrations for Class 11 admissions through the online student facilitation system (OFSS) from tomorrow, May 17, 2023, onwards.
According to board representatives, applications were posted on the official website for admissions on Wednesday. Students who passed their Class 10 matric exams can register on the official portal at ofssbihar.in and fill out the online application form for admission to Class 11th from May 17, 2023.
The last date to submit the online application for admission to BSEB Class XI is May 26, 2023. More than 13.05 lakh students passed the Bihar Board matric exam 2023.
The board has determined that there would be admissions to 10,268 senior secondary schools and institutions. On the admissions website, students can check out the information about all schools and colleges, including their addresses, the number of seats available for each stream, and the type of college.
How to apply for BSEB Class 11 Admissions online?
Step 1: Open the official portal at ofssbihar.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the given link for Bihar Class 11th admissions 2023.
Step 3: Fill out the online application form and submit all the necessary details.
Step 4: Download the form for further use and keep it saved.
BSEB chairman Anand Kishor said, “Candidates who have passed matriculation examination from Bihar Board, CBSE, ICSE or any other national/state boards are eligible to apply for online admission in Class 11. The board will issue a merit list based on applicants’ marks scored and reservation category.”
“Admission to Class 11 will be taken on 22.97 lakh seats across the state. We have around 10 lakh seats in the Art stream followed by science with 9.8 lakh seats and commerce with 2.28 lakh seats. Candidates have to pay ₹350 as an application fee. Candidates can select a maximum of 20 schools or colleges as their preferred institutions,” said a senior BSEB official.
