BPSC 69th Exam Notification: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the notification for the 69th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) on June 27, 2023.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for various Group A and B positions within the state of Bihar online on the official website starting from July 15, 2023.
The important dates for the BPSC 69th CCE have been outlined as follows: the notification was released on June 27, 2023, while the online application process will commence on July 15, 2023, and close on August 5, 2023. Although the specific number of vacancies has not yet been disclosed, the commission has indicated that there will be a total of 3,800 vacancies available for various posts. To be eligible for the BPSC 69th CCE, candidates must be between 21 and 37 years of age as of January 1, 2023, possess a graduate degree from a recognized university, and have passed the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) or an equivalent examination.
The application process for the BPSC 69th CCE is conducted online through the official website of the BPSC. The application fee is set at Rs. 100 for general category candidates and Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PH candidates, making it accessible to a wide range of applicants.
The examination will consist of two stages: the Preliminary exam and the Mains exam. The Preliminary exam is an objective-type exam, scheduled in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 10:00 am to 12:15 pm, and the second shift will take place from 2:00 pm to 4:15 pm. Candidates will be required to answer 150 questions, each carrying one mark, within a total duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes.
The Mains exam, on the other hand, will consist of three subjects: General Studies, Essay, and an Optional subject. The General Studies paper will include 250 questions, each carrying two marks. The Essay paper will be evaluated out of 250 marks, and the Optional subject paper will be graded out of 500 marks.
Following the written examinations, shortlisted candidates will proceed to the interview round, which will be conducted with a weightage of 100 marks. The final selection of candidates will be based on the cumulative scores obtained in the Preliminary exam, Mains exam, and interview.
