The Mahindra group has taken a huge set in the higher education sector. The Mahindra group on Friday launched its autonomous University named as Mahindra University in Hyderabad. MU offers various graduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. courses. The university consists of a multidisciplinary campus spread across 130 acres of land. It includes the Ecole Centrale School of Engineering that was set up in 2014.

MU aims to “provide interdisciplinary academic excellence, integrating the study of science and technology with the humanities, ethics, philosophy, and design”, as stated by Mahindra Group in a statement.
The MU offers various graduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. courses. The Mahindra University consists of a multidisciplinary campus spread across 130 acres of land. The university also includes the Ecole Centrale School of Engineering that was set up in 2014.
MU (is a part of Mahindra Educational Institutions MEI) is a nonprofit subdivision of Tech Mahindra. The MU will have the latest curriculum to make the students completely handy with emerging technologies like data science, blockchain, and data analytics.
Mahindra Group Chairman and MU Chancellor Anand Mahindra conferred “High quality education has transformative powers for individuals and nations, alike”.
As a part of the success strategy, MU is planning to launch the School of Management, School of Law, and Indira Mahindra School of Education in 2021-22.
Later in addition to the institutions, it will launch the School of Media and Liberal Arts in 2022-23, followed by the School of Design in 2023-24.
The management of MU is planning to place around 4000 students and 300+ faculty members across various institutions under the Educational Institutions (MEI) over the next 5years.
Tech Mahindra MD and CEO CP Gurnani stated “The MU is a testimony of our commitment towards bridging the skill gap and creating global leaders that are willing to change, adapt and transform according to dynamic market needs and business environment”.
