The Maharashtra SSC exams 2021 will most likely be conducted after May 1 while the HSC exams will most likely be conducted after April 15, an official confirmed.
After the release of the CBSE board exams 2021 dates for students of classes 10 and 12, the Maharashtra State Board has announced that the dates for the SSC and HSC exams for the academic session 2020-21 for students of classes 10 and 12 respectively.
As per an official statement issued on Twitter by Varsha Gaikwad, the Maharashtra Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams 2021 will be conducted post-April 15 and the Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) exams 2021 will be conducted after May 1.

The schools in many cities of Maharashtra have started to reopen for classes 10 and 12. The schools are only being reopened for higher classes to resume classroom studies as the board exams for this academic session are nearing.
Board exams 2021 delayed
Every year, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) conducts the Maharashtra HSC and SSC board exams in March and the date sheet for the same is released in January.
This year, the final dates of the HSC and SSC board exams 2021 have not been released yet due to the delay caused by the current Covid-19 pandemic situation. The dates for the exams for this academic session will most likely be announced in January itself.
Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad also announced that the government is currently speculating the reopening of schools for students of classes 5 to 8. As of now, all the classes for school students are being conducted online because of the pandemic.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the dates for the CBSE board exams 2021 for students of classes 10 and 12. The board exams will start on May 4 and will conclude on June 10, and the practical exams will start on March 1.
