The J&K government has marked Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) with four IITs and three IISERs for two months internship of 500 last year students undertaking professional courses and seeking after Science streams in the colleges of J&K for the scholarly meeting 2020-21.
The goal of the MoUs, which was marked in New Delhi by Secretary Higher Education Department J&K Talat Parvez alongside All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is to give internship chance to students of J&K for enabling, rousing and upgrading their employability.
During the internship, the students will be chipping away at bleeding-edge research in the field of Science and Technology under the direction of Faculties from these chief establishments.
Students from any of the Science and Engineering orders of Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programs are qualified to apply.
MoUs regarding IIT Guwahati, IIT Ropar, IIT Pune, IIT Bhubaneshwar, IISER Orrisa, IISER Pune and IISER Kolkata were marked under the presence of Union Minister for MHRD.
Under this extraordinary first of a sort internship activity, the traveling costs of students will be supported by MHRD through AICTE while the lodging and educational costs will be borne by having organizations.
The applications will be welcomed online for merit-based choice from all colleges and waitlists arranged by April 15, 2020.
The preparation planned to begin from May 15 to July 15, 2020, and for a month in December 2020. Besides IITs and IISER organizations are probably going to stretch out a comparable idea to help J&K Higher Education to give a genuinely necessary presentation to quality improvement and research openings in most recent innovations.
