Jio Institute Brings In Power-Packed Advisory Panel

Jio Institute has set up a power-pressed, seven-part Global Advisory Council in front of the dispatch of its academic session in 2021, with Rs 1,000 crore of funding ploughed in and a submitted annual endowment of Rs 100 crore, the Reliance Group told the Center a week ago.

The advisors in the council are Jean-Lou Chameau, president emeritus of California Institute of Technology (Caltech); Rick Levin, former leader of Yale University; Subra Suresh, leader of Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University; Michael Keller, bad habit executive of Stanford University; Nadhmi An Al-Nasr, CEO of Saudi Arabia’s futuristic habitat venture NEOM, and Frank J Mulhern and Vinayak P Dravid of Northwestern University, ET has learnt.

A high-powered Governing Council, which incorporates members of the Ambani family, has been set up for the first greenfield task to be ensured as a ‘Foundation of Eminence’ by the government.
