Dr. Jitendra Singh in a webinar said that the decision of National Recruitment Agency will bring paradigm shift in recruitment system and help meet the aspiration of the youth in finding the right job.
In a webinar organized by the Press Information Bureau, Kolkata on Monday, the experts from the Industry, Government sector along academicians thought and talked about the potential and job of the National Recruitment Agency from the recruitment sector and strategy viewpoint. In the webinar, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the National Recruitment Agency brings a paradigm shift in the recruitment system and helps meet the aspiration of the youth in finding the right job.
On the event Union Minister of State (I/C) for the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region and Minister of State for Prime Minister’s Office, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh conferred “the decision is a Game-Changer in the recruitment sector that brings Recruitment to the villages and towns. The job opportunities for the candidates is a transformational endeavor that would greatly enhance the ease of living for the youth.”
Further, he emphasized the need for a better student recruitment process and the practices in the recruitment sector. Also, Dr. Jitendra Singh claimed that National Recruitment Agency will bring a paradigm shift in the recruitment system and help meet the aspiration of the youth in finding the proper job. He said that it is not only a Governance reform but also a socio-economic reform.
Shri Braj Raj Sharma, Former Chairman, SSC expressed the decision of the National Recruitment Agency has a lot of potentials. He conferred that “the job selection, recruitment, and job opportunities have to be seen in totality. It is a WIN-WIN scenario for all in the value chain of recruitment, whether it is the job seekers, recruiting organizations, or Human Resources personnel.”
National Recruitment Agency- Benefits For Students
He said to begin with Common Eligibility Test would include recruitments by three agencies, i.e., Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), and the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The decision would have a special emphasis on infrastructural development in 117 districts.
Even from the students’ perspective, the decision of the National Recruitment Agency has many advantages for them. The students will not have to appear in multiple examinations. Moreover, the examinations will be conducted in each district to encourage more women candidates and Divyangsand to participate especially those from rural areas to apply for government jobs.
