Named Commonwealth Digital Education Leadership Training in Action (C-DELTA), the platform that allows students and teachers to develop communities and demonstrate their effective use of digital education tools, and thereby influence others as leaders in digital education skills, COL said in a statement that they will be taking action to uplift education skills
Digital India project is no longer a dream, it is in action and have also taken a step forward to empower and educate people in every nuke and corner of the country. So, commonwealth head of government created intergovernmental organisation in which they launched an online platform to help both students and teachers to improve their digital India skills. Through the Commonwealth Digital Education Leadership Training in Action (C-DELTA) initiative, Common wealth of learning COL has identified the need to foster digital learning, and developed this programme.

C-DELTA main aim is to promote a digital education environment in Commonwealth countries by engaging with governments, educational institutions, teachers, and civil society organisations to assess digital education competencies, develop learning materials around the digital education skills, provide training opportunities for teachers, and monitor student achievement and their relationships to livelihood.
The British Columbia, Canada-headquartered organisation also supported the adoption of C-DELTA by saying that it will work with the governments and educational institutions of the Commonwealth member-states.
The curriculum framework of C-DELTA has been collaborated with the Centre for Innovation in learning and Teaching and the University Of Cape Town, South Africa. The modules have been developed by experts and peer-reviewed by an advisory group from across the Commonwealth, the statement added.
