College students to get free digital training, MoU signed between Microsoft and Rajasthan Government.
Free digital training will be provided to 9500 students from Rajasthan over a period of one year by the MoU signed between Microsoft and the Rajasthan Government.
Kiran Maheshwari, the Higher education minister said that this initiative has been taken to enhance the digital learning and capacity building of the college students in Rajasthan. She also said that in this period of technology and speed those who are not trained will become outdated and that this initiative will increase the digital learning of the college students of Rajasthan.

Ashutosh AT Pednekar, commissioner of college education said that Microsoft will run MS Office specialist training programme in over 50 Govt colleges starting from August for a period of one year that will benefit 9500 students. Certificates will be given to successful candidates on completion of the programme.
The Department has also signed a MoU with IGNOU a few months back for two dozen skill development courses in which 16,500 students have already registered.
Educators from Government colleges to be trained by Microsoft.
With the help of Microsoft Innovative Educator Programme, Microsoft will also train Government college educators and help them build capacity for using the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) innovatively.
Over the past few years, Microsoft has come up with a number of programmes for the training and skill development of the people.
