The Karnataka government has exhorted CHRIST (Deemed-to-be-University), Bangalore not to direct online assessments for the middle of the intermediate semesters. In a letter to CHRIST, the State Higher Education Department requested that the foundation promote the students dependent on the grading system.
“It is brought to the notification of the government that the Christ (Deemed-to-be-University), Bangalore, is directing halfway semester/year assessments. You are in this way exhorted not to direct assessments for the middle of the road semester/year and advance students dependent on grading system comprising of half checks for internal assessment and half stamps for the presentation in the past semester,” the letter read.
Days back, the Karnataka government had declared that the middle semester students seeking after degree and post-graduation courses including engineering and diploma courses for the scholarly year 2019-2020 will be advanced without assessments.
The request, be that as it may, stood legitimate just for government and private colleges under the domain of the Higher Education Department. The UGC had requested that the colleges complete the assessments by September 2020.
