A total of 15 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are offering two-year Post-graduation (PG) courses across the nation. The admission to these courses will be through CET 2020. The registration process for CET 2020 has already begun.
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has invited applications for admission to two-year post-graduation courses. The admission to these post-graduation courses will be done through Common Entrance Test 2020. AICTE is offering admissions in MBA and PGDM courses in innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture development (IEV).
Total 15 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are offering a two-year Post-graduation course across the nation. The admission to these courses will be through CET 2020. The registration process for CET 2020 has already begun.
The candidates who qualify the entrance exam will get admission to two-years of full-time MBA or PGDM courses. The course is an initiative under the ‘National Innovation and Startup Policy’ of MHRD’s Innovation Cell and AICTE.
In an official notice of AICTE, it stated that the objective of this policy is “to make Indian higher education system to produce new generation entrepreneurs capable of building innovative and simultaneously earning a master’s degree”.
Important Dates For Admission to Two-Year PG Courses
The Common Entrance Exam on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CET-IE) 2020 will be held on 5th September 2020. The registration process has already begun. It will continue until 28th August 2020. The admit cards for appearing in the Common Entrance Exam (CET-IE) 2020 will be released on 31st August 2020.
Two online mock tests are also provided to the candidates. The online mock test will be held on 1st and 2nd September 2020.
As per the official notice of AICTE, the result of CET-IE will be released by 10th September. The qualifying candidates will be called for interview. The final admission list of the candidate for two-year post-graduation courses (MBA or PGDM) can be expected by 15th October 2020.
The total duration of the online exam will be 90 minutes with 30 minutes’ as preparation time. Tentative time for CETIE will be 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. A total of 150 objective-type questions related to innovation, entrepreneurship, IPR, and startup will be asked. The exam will be in English only.
The syllabus includes quantitative aptitude, awareness of the business, logical reasoning, reading comprehension, and psychometric assessment.
