CHENNAI: The release date of Tamil Nadu Class XII state board results is likely to be deferred, school education minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi said on Tuesday.
According to the earlier schedule, the Class XII exam results are scheduled to be declared on May 5. The National Elgibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) will be held on May 7.
“We have received requests from teachers’ associations to postpone the Class XII exam results as it is scheduled to be announced just two days before the NEET exam. They say the results may affect their performance in NEET. We will discuss with the CM and take a call on result dates,” Poyyamozhi added.
