Simplilearn was initiated as a project management blog in 2009, giving project management hacks as well as data on certification and professional training. In 2010, it has begun training classes that employed both classroom and online training.

It started offering additional courses across categories and also provides online training, blended classroom training, and exam practice tests in over 200 courses across many categories, including IT service management, IT security management, finance management, quality management, etc.

It has trained about 200K students and conducts 500 unique classes every month as of Jan 2015. Working in 150+ countries. Also Acquired Silicon Valley-based Market Motive in a $10M deal.
