Company History –
Scaler Academy Review: Scaler is a product by leading start-up, InterviewBit Technologies Private Ltd. InterviewBit was founded in 2015 in Pune by IIIT Hyderabad alumni, Anshuman Singh and Abhimanyu Saxena. InterviewBit was a bootstrapped company for the first four years.
In the year 2019, InterviewBit launched Scaler Academy (previously known as IB Academy) to help engineering students and software professionals accelerate their careers. Following the launch of the Academy, Sequoia India invested 1.5 million USD in the company and included them in their accelerator program – Surge.
In September 2019, LinkedIn recognized InterviewBit amongst the top 10 startups that offered the best work environment for employees in India. In December 2019 the company shifted its headquarters to Bengaluru in Karnataka, the center of India’s high-tech industry.
In January 2020 InterviewBit received Series A funding of 20 million USD from Sequoia India, Tiger Global, and others. InterviewBit is also backed by angel investors like Jitendra Gupta, Prasanna Shankaran, and Jason Goldberg. InterviewBit has been an operationally profitable entity since its launch.
