On Thursday, Defence Minister of India Rajnath Singh urged the teachers to impart basic education and knowledge to the students. He also asked them to sharpen the skills of the students with regard to National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Defence Minister of India Rajnath Singh on Thursday addressed the teachers and other intellectuals gathered at state BJP headquarters through the digital mode from Delhi. During the meeting, he asked the teachers to focus on sharpening the skills of the students also impart the basic knowledge to them. The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, ministers such as Nand Kishore Yadav, Mangal Pandey, and Vinod Narayan were present at the event. Also, MLC Nawal Kishore Yadav was also present at the event.
Rajnath Singh conferred that “The New Education Policy 2020 would not only make a new India but also help in fulfilling the aspirations of students as it stresses on imparting basic education, knowledge and also honing the skills of the students to induce in them entrepreneurial ability”.
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 got approval from the cabinet on 29th July. The education policy replaced the 34 -year-old National Policy on Education framed in 1986. The NEP 2020 is directed towards bringing transformational reforms in school and higher education systems to make India a global knowledge superpower.
