Over 2 Lakh Indian Students Went To the US For Higher Education In 2018-19

Students from India and China represent more than 50 % of every single global Student landing in the US in 2018-19, the report released by Institute of International Education (IIE) and US Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs said.

“We are glad to see the continued development in the number of global students in the United States and US students concentrating abroad,” a US explanation cited Marie Royce, Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs as saying.

“Promoting worldwide student mobility stays a top priority for the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and we need significantly more students, later on, to consider the To be States as the best goal to gain their degrees,” she said.

Other than China and India, South Korea sent 52,250 students, Saudi Arabia 37,080 and Canada 26,122 – to adjust the main five nations sending the most quantities of students to the US, the report said.

Science, innovation, designing and arithmetic attracted more than 51.6 % of worldwide students in the US in 2018-19, the report said.
