What more can be a better idea to boost the career prospective of students, than to launch new courses! Yes,, your heard it right. The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) will offer 159 courses for its July to November, 2017 session.
The Highlights
1.Among these 159 courses, 43 are old and 116 courses are new.
2. The courses will begin from July 24, 2017 or August 21, 2017 with examination dates being on September 24/October 22, 2017 (Sundays).
3. All these courses have already been opened for online enrolment . Interested candidates can visit the following NPTEL official portal for registration or enrolment:

4. Free of Cost Courses, Nominal Exam Fee
To much joy to the students, especially for those coming from the weaker section of the society, all courses are free of cost! However, if the students wish to take the certification examination, they will have to pay a fee of Rs. 1000 per course examination.
NPTEL-IIT Connect to Benefit Students
NPTEL came into existence in 2003 when the following institutes initiated it: –

Thus, NPTEL offers the course content in-depth and as taught in the IITs. This will provide any student who goes through it, a solid foundation and understanding of a topic, and thus a better career.
