NIRF Ranking 2019 Best Medical Institute In Country
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi continues to maintain its position as the top medical institute college in India.
AIIMS, Delhi was ranked as the best medical institute in the country the second year in a row. In the NIRF 2019 rankings which were announced yesterday, AIIMS retained its top spot from last year. There have been some visible shifts in the ranking of the institutes with Kasturba Medical College, Manipal shifting to the seventh rank from the third rank which it held last year. Similarly, King George’s Medical University was ranked fifth in 2018 whereas in 2019 it is at tenth rank.

ARIIA Rankings 2019
ARIIA 2019 rankings were announced yesterday. IIT Madras was the best among the top 10 government institutes.MHRD released the first ARIIA ranking 2019 yesterday. The rankings were announced by President Ramnath Kovind. ARIIA or Atal Rankings of Institutions on Innovation Achievement recognizes institutes which encourage high-quality research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. IITs have featured heavily in the first ARIIA rankings. IIT Madras, which has bagged the first spot for the best institute in overall category and engineering category in the NIRF rankings, leads the table for ARIIA ranking too.

Apart from IIT Madras, there are six other IITs in the top ten list of ARIIA rankings for government institutes.

NIRF Ranking 2019 Best For Pharmacy In India
Jamia Hamdard University was ranked the best university in Pharmacy category in NIRF India Rankings 2019.
Jamia Hamdard, which was ranked second last year in Pharmacy category, has moved to the first place this year in the NIRF rankings which were announced yesterday. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) has moved to the third position on the list. NIPER was ranked first in the maiden NIRF rankings for Pharmacy institutes. Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai has retained its spot at fourth place.

NLS Bangalore, NLU Delhi, Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad and Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur are the top four institutes for Law.
Among the top 15 law institutes in India, National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore has been ranked the first as per the government ranking system- National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF). It has retained the top position for two consecutive years. National Law University Delhi, Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad and Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur are among the top institutes for law programs, as per NIRF ranking 2019.
