NMMS Result 2023: The Directorate of Government Examinations Telangana has declared the National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Result 2023. Students who applied for the scholarship can check their result status on the NMMS Telangana official website bse.telangana.gov.in.
The Telangana National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination of Class 8th was conducted on December 18, 2022, in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and English languages. The minimum qualifying mark for each paper is 40% and in the case of SC/ST, the cutoff is 32%.
The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) is a centrally sponsored scholarship scheme launched by the Ministry for Human Resource Development, Government of India. Under this scheme an examination is conducted every year for the students studying in class VIII in Government/ Local Body/Municipal/Aided Schools/ Modal schools which have no residential facility (i.e. from non-Residential Schools only) and selected candidates are eligible for getting the scholarship.Direct Link: Telangana NMMS Result 2023
How to check Telangana NMMS 2023 Result?
Step 1. Visit the official website at bse.telangana.gov.in
Step 2. On the homepage, click on the ‘NMMS December 2022 selected candidates list’
Step 3. A PDF of the NMMS result will be displayed on the screen
Step 4. Download and take a printout of the same for future reference
A total of 2,716 students have been selected for the scholarship across 33 districts. While the highest candidate 283 is from the Rangareddy district. Selected students will receive a scholarship of Rs 1000 per month for two years for Class 9 and 10.
