Pune: Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will organize a ‘Design Showcase’ exhibition on May 12 and 13 at SID’s Viman Nagar campus.
‘The exhibition is organized annually wherein the young design graduates showcase their degree projects which are either completed under the guidance of a design company or are self-initiated. Design research, innovations, trends, and creative and technical skills form an integral part of the design process. The two days event comprises an open day, an exhibition of students’ projects, design films, and an academic award ceremony,’ said the official press note.
The note further said, “Candidates who wish to pursue design as a career after Class XII can also benefit from the exhibition. Students and parents will be able to explore design disciplines, career options, types of projects, and opportunities in the design world.
