PG admission process in state to be over by Sep 21


BHUBANESWAR: The higher education department will complete the postgraduate (PG) admission process by September 21 this year to commence classes early. As the common PG entrance test (CPET) is already over, subject-wise and state-wide merit lists will be published on July 20 (2 pm).
Choice filling for PG seats will be held between July 20 and July 23. The provisional allotment of seats for the first round will be published on July 28. First round admission will start on July 31 and continue till August 2.
Similarly, the second selection merit list will be published on August 7. Their admission will be conducted between August 9 and August 11. The third selection merit list will be published on August 18 and admission for this round will be held between August 20 and August 23.
The provisional allotment of seats for fourth, fifth and sixth rounds will be done on August 28, September 6 and September 18 respectively. Admission for the fourth round will be conducted on August 31 and September 1, while the fifth round of admission will be held between September 9 and September 11. The final and sixth round admission will be held between September 19 and September 21.
