Odisha UG Admission 2023: Application process to begin on June 19


BHUBANESWAR: Common Application Form (CAF) for students, who want to take admission in Plus III first year in degree colleges of the state, will be available on student academic management system (SAMS) website from June 19 (2pm). Last date for applying online for CAF is July 4.
After submitting the CAF online, students can validate and correct the application form at SAMS resource centres from June 21 to July 7 (except holidays).
Provisional allotment of seats for the first round will be published at 2pm on July 14. Students can pay admission fees between July 14 and July 18. Admission of students selected in this merit list will start from July 15 and continue till July 17. Data of admitted students will be updated between July 15 and July 17.
Second selection merit list will be published at 2pm on July 27. Selected students can take admission between July 29 and August 1. Data of the admitted students will be updated from July 29 to August 2.
Provisional allotment of seats for the third round will be published at 2pm on August 9. Students can take admission for this round between August 10 and August 14. Data of the admitted students will be updated during the admission process from August 10 to August 14.
Fourth round merit list will be published at 2pm on August 21. Selected students can take admission at their institutions between August 22 and August 25 and data of the admitted students will be updated during the admission time.
Provisional allotment for the fifth round will be published at 2pm on September 1. Students can take admission between September 2 and September 5. Similarly, the sixth round merit list will be published at 2 pm on September 13. Students selected in this round can take admission between September 14 and September 18.
The whole process of admission will be completed by September 18. According to the admission reform, the higher education department will not come up with a phase-II admission process and complete the process in six rounds, said the official sources.
