NEET UG 2023: What to carry to NEET exam centre?


The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) is set to be conducted on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at various examination centres from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM as a common and uniform entrance test throughout India as well as cities outside India in about 499 cities in Pen & Paper mode (offline).
The exam conducting body, National Testing Agency (NTA) has also released the NEET 2023 admit card on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, for all candidates who successfully registered for the examination.
If you are one of those NEET aspirants who is going to appear for the medical entrance exam on Sunday, here are some essential items that you need to carry to the NEET exam centre on the day of the examination.
NEET Admit Card: It is the most important document to get entry into the exam centre and not even a single candidate should forget to carry it. NEET hall ticket must be in the form of a hard copy with a coloured postcard-sized photograph, or a 4-inch x 6-inch photograph, pasted on it.
ID Proof: Along with the NEET admit card, it is also important to carry any of your valid photo identity proof to the exam centre. It can be your Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.
Two Passport Size Photographs: You must carry at least two recent passport-size photographs same as what you uploaded while submitting your NEET 2023 application form.
Face Mask: As COVID-19 has not yet totally gone, it is essential and important for each candidate to follow proper guidelines issued by the NTA. You must wear a face mask and maintain social distancing at the examination centre for your safety as well as for others’ safety.
Water Bottle: You should carry your own water bottle to the exam centre as keeping yourself hydrated during the examination is very important especially when the temperature is rising. You should also ensure that the bottle is transparent.
Basic Stationery: You must carry an extra pen, pencil, eraser, sharpener, etc. All the items of basic stationery you should keep in your bag.
NEET is an all-India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India and also, for those intending to pursue primary medical qualification abroad.
