NEET 2023 Official Answer key released by NTA; Raise objections till June 6

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently released the answer key for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) – UG 2023 on its official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
The NEET-UG 2023 exam took place on May 7, 2023, in Pen and Paper mode, and was conducted in 13 languages across the country. This examination serves as a common and uniform test for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions.
The NTA conducted the NEET (UG)–2023 for a total of 2,087,449 candidates at 4,097 different centres located in 499 cities throughout the country, including 14 cities outside India. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now download the provisional answer keys, scanned images of OMR answer sheets, and recorded responses from the official website in order to challenge them.
To challenge the answer key, candidates need to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200/- per answer challenged. The payment can be made through various modes such as debit card, credit card, net banking, or Paytm. However, it is important to note that challenges will only be accepted if the processing fee is received by June 6, 2023 (up to 11:50 P.M.). No challenges will be entertained by the NTA without the receipt of the processing fee.
The challenges raised by the candidates will be verified by a panel of subject experts, constituted by the NTA. If a challenge is found to be correct, the answer key will be revised and applied to all candidates accordingly. The final answer key, based on the experts’ decisions, will be used to prepare and declare the results. It is worth mentioning that no individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance or non-acceptance of their challenge. The key finalized after the challenge process will be considered final, and no further challenges will be accepted after June 6, 2023 (up to 11:50 P.M.).
Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official websites of the NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and neet.nta.nic.in for the latest updates and notifications regarding NEET (UG) – 2023. In case of any further clarifications or queries, candidates can contact 011-40759000 or email neet@nta.ac.in.
