The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), NEET UG 2023 is slated to be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at various examination centres located in 499 cities throughout the country including 14 cities outside India. A total of 20,87,449 candidates will take the exam this year.
It is a national-level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical and dental programmes (MBBS/BDS) in government and private colleges across the country. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) once a year.
NEET 2023 exam will contain 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The medical entrance exam duration is 3 hours from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM and it carries a total of 720 marks. The exam is conducted in offline mode, and the question paper will be available in 13 different languages.
