Jammu, May 19 : Poonch Campus University of Jammu organised one day Awareness Programme on “Entrepreneurship Orientation” on Friday which witnessed an overwhelming response from students.
The Awareness Programme was organized in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute Poonch.
Director Poonch Campus Prof Rakesh Vaid inaugurated the awareness programme in presence of the former Director Prof Dipankar Sengupta, Principal SKC-GDC Poonch Dr Jasbir Singh, Azmat Hussain District Nodal Officer JKEDI, Poonch, Shuja Mohammad, Employment Officer, DECC Poonch, Harman Singh Young Professional Employment Officer, Dr Rubia Bukhari Campus Officer/ Incharge, and Students from both Poonch Campus and SKC-GDC Poonch, attended the awareness programme.
Prof Vaid said, “Aim behind organizing such programs is to impart training to the Students of Department of Sericulture so that they can start their own venture after the completion of the course.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dipankar Sengupta said that such an awareness programme on Entrepreneurship Orientation will definitely help the students of Sericulture to Choose their future goals.
Principal SKC-GDC Poonch Dr Jasbir Singh; District Nodal Officer – JKEDI, Poonch Azmat Hussain; Dr Rubia Bukhari Campus Officer; Shuja Mohammad, Employment Officer, DECC- Poonch briefed the participants on various self-employment schemes.
