NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination 2023 is set to be conducted tomorrow, June 4, 2023, by the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Guwahati. Students who will appear for the examination tomorrow must be aware of the exam day guidelines, instructions mentioned on admit card, and other important details.
This article provides candidates with all such important information for JEE Advanced 2023 along with what’s allowed and what’s not allowed to carry to the examination centre tomorrow.
JEE Advanced Paper 1 will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and JEE Advanced 2023 Paper 2 will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The admit cards for the exam have already been uploaded on the official website for all candidates. This year, 1.95 lakh candidates have registered for the JEE Advanced exam 2023, of which 44,000 are girls.
A total of 1.9 lakh boys qualified JEE Mains exam, of which 1.6 lakh registered for the JEE Advanced examination while 60,000 girls passed the JEE Main 2023, and of them, 44,000 registered for the JEE Advanced examination.
JEE Advanced 2023: Guidelines for exam day
► Candidates must carry the hard copy of their JEE Advanced admit cards to the examination centre for verification purposes along with a valid ID proof.
► Candidates should only carry pens, pencils, and drinking water in a transparent bottle inside the examination hall.
► Aspirants must reach the exam centre at an hour before the commencement of JEE Advanced paper.
► Candidates must not carry digital, smart watches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, microphones, or any other electronic gadget inside the examination centre.
► Examination centres will be opened from 7 AM on the day of the exam.
