NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force has started the registration for AFCAT-II 2023 today, June 01. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Air Force Common Admission Test, AFCAT on the official website at afcat.cdac.in.
As per the schedule, the online application process for AFCAT-II will continue till June 30, 2023. Online applications are invited for the courses commencing in July 2024 for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. Online applications are also invited for NCC Special Entry Scheme (for flying branch).
Age Limit
(a) Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2024 i.e. born between 02 July 2000 to 01 July 2004 (both dates inclusive). The upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2004 (both dates inclusive).
(b) Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2024 i.e. born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2004 both dates Inclusive).

Marital Status
Candidates must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course and marriage is not permitted during training. A candidate who marries during the period of training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditures incurred on him/ her by the Government.

Step 2. On the homepage, click on the AFCAT-II 2023 application link
Step 3. Register yourself and fill out the AFCAT application form
Step 4. Upload the required documents and pay the AFCAT examination fee
Step 5. Download and take a hard copy of the confirmation page for future reference
Application Fee
The applicants are required to pay an amount of Rs. 250/- (non-refundable) as examination fee. However, candidates registering for NCC Special entry are not required to pay.
