Amid the coronavirus COVID-19 lockdown, Tamil Nadu’s Higher Education Department has chosen to utilize the Moodle app for web-based teaching-learning in government arts and science colleges.
The Higher Education Department coordinated the Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education to direct a two-day online hands-on preparing workshop on ‘Design, Develop and Deliver Online Courses through Moodle Platform’ for educators of government arts and science colleges on May 15 and 16.
It is found out that the Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education would employ 1,000 instructors of government arts and science colleges for this reason with the help of the Directorate of Technical Education.
The employees chose for the two-day preparation will join in and interface through Google Meet with asset people during the workshop which will be facilitated by the Directorate of Technical Education. All the members of the workshop will be given endorsements.
As indicated by Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education, the thought is to saddle a learning model of information sharing and help the youngsters proceed with their studies during the coronavirus lockdown.
Since Moodle app has got notices as a default include, the students will be refreshed right away throughout e-learning.
