MICA, Ahmedabad, India’s Institute for Strategic Marketing and Communications, recorded 100 per cent placement and an increase of 42 per cent in the average package since 2021 for the 28th batch of its PGDM and PGDM-Communications programme. The institute also recorded a 12 per cent increase in its median CTC, from 17 lakhs per annum last year to 19 lakhs per annum this year.
While the average CTC went up from 14 lakhs in 2021 to 20 lakh this year, the average CTC of the top 50 per cent of the students this year was 23.82 lakhs. The placement process this year also witnessed an increase in new recruiters. A total of 77 companies partnered with MICA of which 56 per cent were new recruiters. The institute has seen increased pre-placement offers (PPOs) through summer placements and corporate competitions. A total of 31 students bagged the PPOs.
