India’s online higher education company, Jaro Education, recently organised an experiential learning Management Development Programme for its employees, ranging from budding leaders to the most senior leaders of the company, like Assistant Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents etc.
This initiative aimed at helping its employees upskill themselves and prepare for the next level of responsibilities in the VUCA World. The programme helped the participants develop skill sets specific to job roles, imbibe leadership qualities and learn the nuances of their industry.
The programme was divided into three segments, with each segment focussing on a particular level of employees. Segment 1 was targeted towards junior-level employees, who might be required to step up into managerial roles in the future. They have been mentored on setting goals, managing resources, building a team, making decisions leading to impactful results, and much more. Segment 2 focussed on mid-level managers who are ready to move up the ladder. They have been mentored on managing time, leading and effectively managing teams, being resilient and agile, fostering high performance within teams and much more. The final segment, Segment 3, was for the senior leaders, with the core focus on strategic thinking, fostering creativity in organisations, achieving excellence in teams, and developing an entrepreneurial mindset.
