A report published by RedSeer and Omidyar Network India estimates that the online education market for classes 1-12 will grow 6.3 times in the next year and create a USD 1.7 billion market. The new rate is 1.2 percentage points higher than the previous year and 1.5 percentage points higher than two years ago. The shifting demographics and enrollment patterns could be part of the reason for this increase.
