As a major aspect of the “Study In Gujarat”   initiative to charm students from other parts of the nation and abroad, the state will focus on charming students from Bangladesh and other Islamic countries. State education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, principal secretary higher education, Anju Sharma with other officers will visit different countries and do roadshows to motivate candidates to pursue higher education in Gujarat

Roadshows will be held in West Asia from January 15 to 22.

It will be organized in Kuwait on January 15, in Dubai on January 17 and 18, in Muscat on January 19 and 20, and in Riyadh on January 21 and 22. Abroad roadshows will likewise be held in Sri Lanka, Nepal, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Bhutan. Roadshows will be held in 10 cities across India, officers said.

The domestic roadshows will be held in Ranchi on January 28, in Indore on January 21, in Kolkata on January 22, in Hyderabad on January 29, in Guwahati on January 20, and in Patna, Nashik and Srinagar on January 28.

Upwards 22 government and private universities and four colleges of the state are joining hands with the government in the movement

The roadshows will give a look at the education area in Gujarat and empower competitors keen on seeking after higher education in Gujarat to get direct comprehension of higher education openings in the state.

The designations going for the worldwide and household roadshows will contain clergymen, senior government authorities and agents of driving colleges and universities in Gujarat.
