Desh Bhagat University organises seminar on health awareness


Chandigarh: A one day seminar was organised by the Ayurveda College and Hospital, Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh. The theme of the seminar was “Health Awareness on New Vikram Samvat 2080”.
Dr Zora Singh, Chancellor of the Desh Bhagat University and Dr Tajinder Kaur, Pro Chancellor, DBU, were the Chief Guests at the event. Sukhwinder Kaur, Chairman of the Market Committee, Amloh, was the guest of honour while Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice-President, presided over the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Zora Singh said that a medical camp also was organised to help the students and faculty to help them know about their health. Dr Harsh Sadawartisaid the ayurvedic medical free health check-up camp was also open for visitors to the Desh Bhagat University campus.
On this occasion, information about various health benefits of following a healthy routine and lifestyle was shared by health experts including Dr Brahm Sharma, DMS, Desh Bhagat Hospital, Dr Baljit Singh, CMO, Desh Bhagat Hospital, Dr Satya Deo Pandey, Director of Clinical Research, Desh Bhagat University, Dr Kulbhushan, Director of Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital and Dr Amandeep Sharma, Vice-Principal, Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital.
