The History Exam was conducted today, March 29 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Students were given additional 15 minutes of reading time to go through the question paper. History is traditionally believed to be one of the scoring subjects for Arts students.

Section-wise Difficulty Level
The CBSE 12th History Question Paper carried a total of 80 marks. Candidates were given 3 hours to complete the question paper. The question paper was divided into 5 sections.
Section A had 21 objective type questions carrying 1 mark each, Section B consisted of 6 Very Short questions carrying 2 marks each, Section C had 3 Short Answer type questions carrying 3 marks each, Section D had 3 Long Answer type questions carrying 05 marks each and Section E consisted of 1 map-based question carrying 5 marks.
Overall students found today’s History paper to be easy. However, some students found the paper to be quite lengthy. Going by the reactions, students found Section C to be more challenging than the other categories.
According to Shweta Bhatia, a grade Xll student of Vidya Bharati School, the CBSE History (027) question paper was moderate but a bit lengthy. Another student, Medha Joshi found the questions ranged from LOTS to HOTS but were mostly direct and competency-based.
However, Madhurima, a PGT History reviewed the question paper as one that requires a thorough understanding of the concepts but felt that the questions were almost like that of the previous years and is expecting the students to score good marks.
