CAT 2017: About 2.31 registrations IIM Lucknow opens edit option to correct mistakes

CAT 2017 admit card/ hall ticket will be released on October 18. The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L) will conduct the exam on November 26.

The registration for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2017) has closed on September 25. About 2.31 lakh candidates have registered for the entrance test.

Limited Edit Option

IIM Lucknow, exam conducting body, has opened the limited edit option to correct mistakes, if any, in the submitted applications. The correction facility will close down from September 27 to 30, 2017. The PwD candidates can also request for assistance during the CAT 2017 on the same dates.

CAT 2017 will be held in 140 test cities for aspirants seeking admission in prestigious Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), ISM, ISB and other management institutions. There is no significant change in the number of applications in comparison to last year.

IIM Lucknow had extended the last date to register for the entrance test. In these five days, nearly 20,000 candidates had applied.

Cat Exam Pattern

The duration of the test will be 180 minutes. 

There will be three sections namely:

Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension

Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning

Section III: Quantitative Ability

CAT 2017 exam will be a computer based test with total 100 questions to be completed within 180 minutes.

The admit card/ hall ticket will be released on October 18. The hall ticket will be available to download till November 26, 2017.

Those who crack CAT 2017, their name and roll number will be made available on the website of the respective IIMs. Each IIM will send interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly. The criteria for shortlisting vary for each IIM.
