AIHM&AN conducts MCC, F&B conducts final exam, readies itself for placement drive


To open new horiazons for youths in hotel and hospitality sector and make them economically reliant, the Amazon Institute of Hotel management and Applied Nutrition (AIHM&AN) on Tuesday conducted the final examination of students undergoing Multi Cuisine Cook (MCC) training and Food and Beverages (F&B) services at Miran Sahib and is likely going to hold placement drive.
Students appearing for their finals exhibited their skills by preparing various dishes and also had appeared in theory, practical and viva exam.
The special invitee on the occasion Ashiq Regoo, senior faculty at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Srinagar assessed the credentials of students.
These students are being imparted training under the union government’s “Hunar Se Rozgar” scheme sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India at Miran Sahib.
The Amazon institute is known for giving wings to the dreams of youth by opening new avenues in the hotel and hospitality industry. the finals examination was held under the supervision of Kapil Singh Chib, Principal of the institute, Sadhvi Kashyap, faculty of MCC, Deepak Khanna, Manager of the institute.
During his visit to AIHM&AN, the senior faculty IHM, Srinagar Ashiq Regu appreciated the dishes prepared by students and said that they are well prepared to be launched in the hospitality industry. He also appreciated the faculty for pruning the students well in their in-house training.
Managing Director of the institute Ruchi thanked the visiting faculty from Srinagar apprising the students that very soon a placement drive will also be launched wherein good and recognized hotels will be invited to interview students.
