However, it has been observed that there are certain issues in these domains that hinder in the efficient functioning of the institutions as well as the academics of the students.

Regular changes in administrative policies of running a college/university by the Government bodies create hurdles for owners to run their colleges/universities effectively. Such policy changes make it difficult for the owners and administration departments of the colleges to lay a solid foundation for the institutions. This factor ultimately leads to colleges running like factories where the term ‘innovation’ doesn’t exists.

Over the years, it has been observed that the number of students enrolling for higher education in India is constantly decreasing. These numbers are measured by used the Gross Enrollment Ratio(GER) Index. The decline in the number of students opting for higher education posses a threat to the overall development of the nation.

Due to the lack of counselling, students these days either opt for courses that offers high paying jobs after graduation or under peer pressure.
